The Model CKT2 Coaxial Kelvin Test probes are ideal for application that require the measurement of low resistances in small spaces. Problems often arise when precision resistance measurements are required inside connector housings and cable assemblies. With a spring loaded, gold plated tip only 0.5mm (.020in) diameter and an outer shell connector of 2.4mm (.093in) it is possible to get a true Kelvin connection in these crowded situations. This eliminates the problem of worn 'pogo' pins producing variable contact resistance and cable length affecting the resistance measurements.
